Welcome! Thanks for visiting us, this web site was made thanks to the effort and the illusion of people who wished that these towns were present in any place around the world, with the technology of the World Wide Web (WWW).

Borralleiro and Carballeira, along with Raíces and Taboadelo, are small villages of Galicia, (Comunidad autónoma of the northwest of Spain) that belong to the parish of Barcia do Seixo. These villages, are in the council of A Lama, situated in the province of Pontevedra.

They are located in a beautiful natural spot, between two mountains, Serra " do Suido " and Mount " do Seixo ". This one has its highest point at 1012 meters over the sea level. our two villages are also located in a high place, to be exact, at 690 meters over the sea level.

Surrounded by nature, we have zones of low mount, zones of scrubs, rivers, forests of pines, oaks and birches. We speak about all this with detail in the page dedicated to nature.

Like any other place located in the mountains, the climate its very changeable. In spring green color is the dominant one, together with all the colors of the typical flowers tof the season. Summer, is the perfect time to take advantage of the most pleasant temperature and go to have a bath in the river. In autumn the changes of temperature foretell the arrival of winter, wen sometimes, we can see snow.

Currently, the access by road is good, the section of the road between Antas and portela da Cruz had recently been  renewed, (previously the most deteriorated), now the state of the road is acceptable. In the Location page, you will be able to see our location.
